There are two things I learned while transitioning from heart surgery patient to marathon runner:
1. The realm of possibility is always in flux. What is possible right now might now be 2 hours later, let alone 2 months later.
2. You are the only person that can honestly evaluate what your realm of possibility is. You can get advice from doctors, trainers, family and friends, but nobody has the insights into all relevant variables that you do. It may take some introspection to truthfully evaluate all those variables, but nobody can do it like you.
